EN 15038:2009 Translation Services-Service Requirements Standard has been published by European Standardisation Committee (CEN) in 2006 as EN 15038:2006. It has been published and was accepted as Turkish Standard on April 9, 2009. The purpose of the standard translation service providers of service quality fits is to determine and define the terms. Interpreting services is outside the scope of the standard. The legal framework is not easily applicable to the fields of Language Services. For this reason, customers with service organizations, competencies and the quality of their translation services as easy decision as possible. In accordance with EN 15038, certification services are carrried out and institutions operating in this field provides an international confidence-building.

EN 15038 Standards quality management system, Translation Services project management, customer relations, human resources and technical resources with management, monitoring and evaluation of the work done and Archiving Service produced and recorded monitoring method and receiving queries and searches for the terms of the requirement.

EN 15038:2006 Standards is created for supplying the translation (written) services.
