It was approved to keep records of management system certificates provided by certification bodies which are accredited by IAF to the database at 31st General Assembly by IAF 2017-05 communique. 

The establishment of a database of management system certificates provided by certification bodies which are accredited by IAF is approved. The database presents opportunity to the organizations which are certified by the accredited certification to keep their certificates in database and display it to the World. 

IAF Chair Xiao Jianhua said, ‘’I am delighted IAF is developing the database. This adds value for the certification bodies accredited by IAF members but most importantly for the organizations that hold over 1.6 million accredited management system certificates. The benefits extend even further, for example to buyers wishing to check if their potential suppliers hold such certificates.’’ Also added, ‘’IAF will continue to work with its accreditation body and certification body association members, on this exciting development.’’
